EscapeWorks Ghoulish Costume Contest!

Announcing our escape room costume contest!

This year, EscapeWorks Denver is committing to the Halloween season! To celebrate, we are holding an escape room costume contest that begins October 12th and ends October 31st. On Día de los Muertos (November 1st) we will post our winners. This will be just in time for our transition between Halloween and the holidays, and the release of our popular A Christmas Story Escape room!

Contest Rules

• One entry per group.
• All participants must be in a costume.
• Bonus points if your costumes all match a single theme or you match the theme of a game!

Costume Rules and Guidelines

• Keep it family friendly, you may be leaving when a family is coming in. So nothing vulgar, risqué, or offensive.
• Masks must be worn in the building. We get it may not match your outfit, but it won’t be put into consideration for your costume.
• No weapons of any sort, or anything that can be used as a weapon. The staff are all nerds, so your Han Solo does not need his pistol. Your Klingon does not need his Bat’leth. Gandalf does not need his staff.
• Remember you will be on your feet for an hour, so make sure you wear shoes or a costume that you will be comfortable in for that amount of time. Don’t forget this is an escape room costume contest!

Prizes

• 1st Place: A free game for 4 people & 4 of our EscapeWorks Denver hats.
• 2nd Place: a 30% discount code for a game of your choice.
• 3rd Place: a 20% discount code for a game of your choice.

So be sure to corral your friends and get a great costume theme going! Only the greatest of costumes will forever be enshrined in the great and hallowed EscapeWorks Hall of Fame. Finally, be sure to join us in our Zombie Outbreak and Murder at the Speakeasy rooms if you want to truly immerse yourself in the spooky spectacle of October!
