Slay the Kids’ Boredom during Spring Break

Spring Break 2021 is here! Maybe you’re not yet ready to travel with your family, and you’re staying around Denver for Spring Break. Or maybe you’ve decided to make Denver a stop on your Spring Break tour! Either way, we’ve got some great ideas for you and your family or friends to enjoy this year in and around the Mile High City.

• Go for an adventurous meal at Zeppelin Station, a collection of international food stalls and creative vendors—from urban Colombian fare and comfort food from the Phillipines to Nashville hot chicken and burgers, fries, and shakes, there’s something for everyone in your family here.
• Spend a night or two at Great Wolf Lodge 45 minutes South of Denver, an exciting indoor water and adventure park with something for everyone – a lazy river, challenge course, multiple water slides, and an indoor wave pool. But before you go, read this post for some valuable insider tips!
  
• Stop in at the Denver Firefighters Museum  downtown. The Museum offers outstanding exhibits on the history of fire fighting in Denver focusing on the Denver Fire Department, and maintains a collection of more than 30,000 artifacts, photographs and manuscripts. There’s also a children’s gallery designed just for families to interact one-on-one with their children. 
• Visit the Littleton Museum, a free museum offering a permanent gallery with the Littleton Story from settlement to the present, including traveling exhibitions from the Smithsonian Institution and other museums; The museum also has a Kids Connection area providing interactive hands-on exhibits as well as living history farms with interpreters. (Check their web site for hours and reservations, which are required).
• Head to the Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum –to view their collection of aircraft and aviation and military exhibits.  There are more than three dozen aircraft on display in the 44,000-square foot space.
