On Sunday nights there’s a poetry slam at Mercury Cafe, where anyone can sign up to present their poem or just come by and listen. There are also book clubs at the Tattered Cover, a local book store specializing in local, independent authors.

The new trend for entertainment venues are puzzle rooms. Teams from 2 to 8 players congregate in individual rooms where the team has one hour to unlock the door.
