Start a New Holiday Tradition at EscapeWorks

Start a New Holiday Tradition at EscapeWorks

If you’re like a lot of people, you already have enough stuff. This Christmas, rather than spending money on something that will collect dust or go in the back of the closet, spend it on an experience that will make memories that last a lifetime. EscapeWorks is a great place to start a new holiday tradition with your friends, co-workers, family members, or significant other.

EscapeWorks is a unique place where you and up to seven other people will be “locked” in a room, and try to solve a puzzle within an hour to escape. Don’t have a group of eight? That’s okay, we can put other adventure-seekers in the room with you. If you solve the puzzle and escape, you each will receive a T-shirt, which will let all of Denver know you have succeeded. If you are really competitive, try to set a new time record for the room you choose. Currently, we have three themed rooms: The Egyptian Tomb, The Big Game, and Casino Heist. Two more themes will be available soon.

While you are in downtown Denver, there are several other activities to get everyone in the holiday spirit. EscapeWorks is only a block away from SkyLine Park where the Christkindl Market is located. From now until December 23, you can enjoy musical and dance performances, shopping, beer, and food. This free festival will make you feel as though you are vacationing in Europe, which would be wonderful after escaping from our Egyptian-themed room.

Another fun activity is ice skating at the Southwest Rink at Skyline Park. If you bring your own skates, it’s free, or you can rent skates for $2. Check the hours on their website; ice skating will be open through February 14th.

Don’t forget to walk over to Union Station and look at the beautiful lights display. The Grand Illumination will be lit nightly until the end of December. The Colorado State Capitol has never looked so magnificent!

Bring out your inner child by riding the holiday carousel at Denver Pavilions between 11 am and 9 pm between December 9th and 23rd. Rides are only $3 and proceeds go to the Food Bank of the Rockies. You can also earn free rides with purchases from Denver Pavilions merchants.

After all of this fun, you will definitely need to grab a bite to eat. There are several fantastic restaurants surrounding EscapeWorks. For delicious and authentic Italian, try Panzano. Sam’s Diner No. 3 has an expansive menu that includes breakfast, burgers, burritos, and much more. Rialto Cafe is an excellent choice for classic American; they can also host your holiday party for 10-250 people. If you time your escape right, you will be sitting down at dinner with a great story to convey.

EscapeWorks would love to be part of a new holiday tradition for you and your loved ones. Take advantage of the fun festivities and top-notch restaurants in downtown Denver to have an unforgettable day. To book a reservation, contact us.
